000-size body of Indian rosewood and European spruce, OM scale (25.4″), navy blue gloss finish, ivoroid binding, bound ebony headplate with Alternate Torch inlay, bound ebony fretboard with 45-style snowflake inlays, fine herringbone top inlay, pearl diamond rosette. Inside label numbered in sequence and signed by C. F. Martin IV, Eric Clapton, Hiroshi Fujiwara, and Dick Boak. Only 181 will be made. Modified V-shape neck, chrome enclosed tuning gears, 1-3/4″ nut, 2-1/4″ string spacing at saddle, ebony belly bridge, scalloped 1/4″ top braces, bone nut and compensated saddle, fine herringbone backstrip, layered black/white/black side inlay. The OM-ECHF Navy Blues is the third in a series of collaborations with Eric Clapton and Hiroshi Fujiwara. This OM edition incorporates the longer 25.4″ scale for added string tension and tonal projection. The neck and body are lacquered and polished with a striking dark navy coloration combined with East Indian rosewood back and sides and a European spruce soundboard.
