Rickenbacker 325C58 Jetglo
This model was a limited release and is now discontinued. They are rare and becoming more difficult to find, especially unmodified. It has a beautiful woody hollow body feel and sound….much more to me than John Lennon’s later c64 model.
This is the faithful re-creation of the fabled 1958 Rickenbacker of John Lennon. This incredibly beautiful guitar is made from Alder wood, as was John Lennon’s, not maple as some of the other quasi-reissues. It has a wonderful wood grain pattern on the back, top, and sides. Includes the case, keys, and case candy that is shown in the photos. It is in all original condition without any modifications done. It includes the tremolo arm in perfect condition (removed prior to taking the photos), which is already neatly packed and ready to go.
From Rickenbacker: *** Discontinued Model *** Today’s 325C58 is an exact replica of the 1958 model 325, just as John Lennon first purchased in Hamburg. This hollow-body guitar is sculpted from solid Alder, and is available in natural Mapleglo or Jetglo finish. Featuring gold nameplate and pickguard, gold-on-brown knobs, an elongated jack plate, and Kauffman Vibrola, the 325C58 precisely replicates every detail of the 1958 Model 325.
It is incredibly light. This is 3/4 neck size. scale length 20-3/4″. Rosewood fingerboard. Includes the silver case of course which is in equally excellent condition.
Kauffman Vibrola Tailpiece, Vintage Single Coil Toaster Top Pickups with Mono Output. Elongated jack plate. Note that the pickups are lower in output than the usual Rick reissue pickups in keeping with the 58′ original…roughly 3.5k ohm each.
